AdventHealth Care Centers Visitor Update

A multi-generational family enjoys time together in a park.

The top priority of our AdventHealth Care Centers is the health and safety of our residents and team members, and we are taking every precautionary measure to protect them from exposure to COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses. Following guidance from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), we have instituted the following visitation policies:

  • Visitation to AdventHealth Care Centers is currently prohibited, except for in certain compassionate care situations, such as when end-of-life medical issues are present. In those cases, visitors will be limited to a specific room only.
  • Visitors that enter in a compassionate care situation (e.g. end-of-life care) will be screened and required to perform frequent hand hygiene and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as facemasks.
  • Visitors with symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, cough, shortness of breath. or sore throat) will not be permitted to enter the facility at any time (even in end-of-life situations).

Should you have any questions about our visitation policy or other measures AdventHealth Care Centers are taking at this time to keep your loved ones safe, please feel free to contact one of our facilities.
