For 50 years, AdventHealth Dade City has been dedicated to our Dade City community's whole health and wellness. We’ve invested more than $30 million to expand our hospital, services and technologies since acquiring the hospital in 2018 — all to ensure we can provide you with the comprehensive, advanced care you deserve. A Look Back On How We’ve Moved Forward

The decades have included exciting milestones and new developments that have brought us to where we are today. We’ve always been passionate about serving our community and are committed to providing whole-person care to our friends and neighbors. Today, AdventHealth Dade City is a beacon of hope and healing in our community.

Our hospital has had many names over its 50 year history, including Dade City Hospital, Pasco Community Hospital, and Pasco Regional Medical Center.

On October 1, 1973, Community General Hospital, now known as AdventHealth Dade City, opened its doors.

On October 1, 1973, we opened our doors as Community General Hospital.

In 2018, our hospital was acquired by the Adventist Health System (now known as AdventHealth) and renamed Florida Hospital Dade City. The following year, AdventHealth underwent a rebrand and the hospital was renamed AdventHealth Dade City.

Since 2018, our hospital has undergone $30 million in renovations and additions, including the main lobby, cafeteria, surgical waiting room and transitional care unit. Pictured here is the new pre-op unit that opened in 2022.
