A prayer service is held by AdventHealth Manchester with special guests from the Clay County High School ROTC and members of the community.
On Thursday, May 5, team members across the AdventHealth system took a moment to celebrate and acknowledge the National Day of Prayer. This annual observance, created in 1952, is an opportunity for people of all faiths to come together and pray for the nation.
In a virtual setting hosted by the AdventHealth Corporate Campus Ministries team, team members across the entire system tuned in to a virtual service for National Day of Prayer. The virtual service was also attended in person in the lobby of the corporate campus in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
During the service, AdventHealth team members participated in Bible readings and prayers of peace for doctors and nurses, team members and their families, patients throughout the health system, local communities and for the world. The service was also bookended by moving musical performances.
In addition to this virtual service, team members were able to participate in person for National Day of Prayer in their respective location events across the nine states where AdventHealth has hospital campuses.
