Computerworld publisher Foundry has recognized AdventHealth on its 30th annual list of Best Places to Work in IT for 2024. The health system ranked #1 in the IT Growth category, #10 in the Employee Retention and Engagement category and #29 overall in the Large Companies category.
AdventHealth information technology teams support more than 1,200 care sites, including hospitals, physician practices and business offices.
“Our IT team has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the AdventHealth mission, which is reflected in the high retention and engagement we have achieved even with a large percentage of our team members working remotely,” said Brent Snyder, chief information officer for AdventHealth. “I am excited our team has once again been recognized for our relentless commitment to excellence, especially as we have seen a 13% increase in the number of AdventHealth hospitals served.”
“Technology is playing an increasingly important role in modern business. IT professionals continue to benefit from this trend, as this year’s winning organizations increase staffing and offer a variety of pathways to upskill, reskill, and diversify their teams,” said Rob O’Regan, global director of content strategy for Foundry. “These companies provide a model for IT and HR leaders who are looking for new ways to attract, engage, and retain talent in an increasingly competitive IT environment.”
