Brandon Nudd has been named president and CEO for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Nudd will assume his new role on Aug. 1 and will report to Mike Murrill, president and CEO for AdventHealth’s Southeast Region, AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray.
“With Brandon’s rich experience in health care, familiarity with this market and his passion for our mission, I’m confident he will serve this community well as he leads AdventHealth Hendersonville forward and ensures those we serve experience faith-based, whole-person care,” said Ken Bacon, president and CEO for AdventHealth’s Multi-State Division.
Currently, Nudd serves as CEO for Castle Rock Adventist Hospital located in Castle Rock, Colorado, which is part of Centura Health, AdventHealth’s joint operating company with CommonSpirit Health. In his new role, Nudd will provide executive leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of AdventHealth Hendersonville, working alongside his leadership team to ensure the delivery of care throughout the Hendersonville community.
“Brandon has a broad scope of experience leading hospitals across the country as well as a history of strong leadership at AdventHealth Hendersonville and the Southeast Region,” said Murrill. “I look forward to working with Brandon as he leads the incredible team of caregivers at AdventHealth Hendersonville not only in the growth and expansion across Western North Carolina, but in further solidifying our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ throughout the communities we serve.”
With more than 20 years of health care experience, Nudd began his career with AdventHealth as a human resources resident. He held various leadership roles in human resources with the organization before joining the AdventHealth Hendersonville team in 2011 as administrative director of organizational development and primary care services. Prior to his current role as CEO at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, he served as chief operating officer at AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray.
“My family and I loved living in the Western North Carolina community and are really excited to reconnect with the incredible people here. It is such an honor to be returning to this amazing hospital and region, especially at this time. AdventHealth Hendersonville is in a position to grow to meet the needs of our health care consumers by expanding access to whole-person care to be available when and where they want it. I look forward to working with this compassionate, mission-focused team to help our community feel whole,” said Nudd.
Nudd earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. Nudd is actively involved in his community and has served on the Castle Rock Economic Development Council executive board, Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce board and Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce board; as chairman of the Mile High Academy school board; and on the executive steering committee of the AdventHealth University Denver campus. He is board-certified in health care management from the American College of Healthcare Executives and was in the inaugural cohort of AdventHealth’s Executive Leadership Program.
Nudd and his wife, Maria, have four children, Mitchell (14), Blythe (12), Brynley (11) and Baylor (4). In his free time, Nudd enjoys spending time with his family outdoors. He also enjoys hiking and golfing.
