AdventHealth has appointed Brianna Miller to the position of vice president of revenue cycle consumer access for the health system. Miller will lead the patient access strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective revenue cycle processes and tools that are focused on a consumer-centric approach to access and payment. She will report to Tim Reiner, senior vice president of revenue management for AdventHealth.
“Brianna brings knowledge and experience in revenue cycle, process improvement and change management, and I look forward to her contributing to our focus on creating new, more consumer-oriented ways of accessing our services, while ensuring we are appropriately reimbursed for the care we provide,” said Reiner.
Miller began her career at AdventHealth as a resident before joining Loma Linda University Health (LLUH), where she spent time as a management resident, administrative project manager and most recently as the director of revenue cycle performance. At LLUH she helped lead efforts to obtain separate licensure for the children’s hospital, convert electronic medical record systems, increase community physician partnerships, and contribute to improved revenue cycle processes.
“AdventHealth is committed to building a world class revenue cycle and Brianna will be integral in helping to lead our consumer engagement roadmap and ensuring we keep the consumer at the center, making the payment process as affordable, transparent and easy as possible,” said Brent Snyder, executive vice president and chief information officer for AdventHealth.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University and Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance, from La Sierra University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
“My passion is to help create better experiences for patients, and I look forward to contributing to AdventHealth’s vision for a consumer-centric revenue cycle across all our care sites,” said Miller.
Miller is the daughter of a pastor and has lived in California, Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, Washington and Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys planning social events for her church, baking and spending time with her golden retriever, Parker.
