Cory Reeves Named CEO for AdventHealth Hendersonville

AdventHealth has named Cory Reeves president and CEO for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Reeves will assume leadership of the hospital on March 29. Reeves replaces Jimm Bunch, the current president and CEO, who recently announced his plans to retire at the end of March.

“Over the years, Cory has proven to be a dynamic leader at AdventHealth. He is driven by a passion to extend our mission and that is evident in the way he does his work and leads his teams. His bias toward action will be pivotal in advancing our promise of wholeness in Henderson County and the surrounding community,” said Terry Shaw, president/CEO for AdventHealth.

Reeves currently serves as vice president and chief financial officer for the Southeast Region and for AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray. He has been with the organization for 18 years working in various accounting roles throughout his tenure at AdventHealth. Under Reeves’ leadership, AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray have seen substantial financial growth and an expansion of assets to better serve the communities of north Georgia.

Reeves received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Southern Adventist University. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University. Reeves is involved in his community, serving on several church and community boards.

Reeves and his wife Amanda have been married for almost 16 years and have two boys, Noah (12) and Jacob (10). In his free time, Reeves enjoys spending time volunteering at church and being active with his family.
