Five New Smyrna Beach Physicians Join Florida Hospital's Employed Physician Group

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., April 26, 2016 Five New Smyrna Beach physicians have joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. These physicians include general surgeon Dr. Kimberly Clayton, family medicine physician Dr. April Ferguson, general surgeon Dr. Frank Toub, neurologist Dr. M. Louella Vivino, and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gregory White.

Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 150 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospital's mission and values.

On April 1, Bert Fish Medical Center and Adventist Health System officials signed and closed on the agreement that allows Adventist Health System, which also owns and operates Florida Hospital, to acquire Bert Fish Medical Center. At this time, Bert Fish Medical Center was renamed Florida Hospital New Smyrna and joined the East Florida Region of Adventist Health System, which includes Florida Hospital DeLand in DeLand, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, and Florida Hospital Oceanside in Ormond Beach.
