VOLUSIA AND FLAGLER COUNTIES, Fla., August 23, 2016 Florida Hospital HospiceCare has selected Kathy Garcia as the new assistant director of clinical operations in Volusia and Flagler counties. In this role, Garcia will be responsible for development, implementation and oversight of clinical protocols, policies and standards. Garcia has been a nurse for 17 years, with 11 years of experience in hospice. In 2000, she began her career as a floor nurse, and in 2005, began her hospice career as an admission registered nurse and case manager, before being promoted to a team manager of various teams.
