VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla., November 7, 2018 – Florida Hospital has selected Carol Rumer to serve as imaging operations manager, overseeing the outpatient radiology services at Florida Hospital Imaging in Ormond Beach and the Florida Hospital New Smyrna Health Park in New Smyrna Beach.
In her new role, Rumer will oversee a team of 30 employees and will work to align the services provided at both locations to provide clinical excellence and exceed patient and physician expectations.
A Port Orange resident, Rumer has worked for Florida Hospital for nearly two decades and has 26 years of experience. She has a background in X-ray imaging, mammography and computed tomography (CT).
She earned certification as a radiologic technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
