Kenneth Rose has been appointed to the position of president and CEO for Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. Rose currently serves as vice president of ancillary services for Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South where he oversees operations for several departments, including laboratory, radiology, therapy services, occupational medicine, outpatient surgery center, nutrition, wellness, human resources and marketing. He will transition to his new role at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, a new health care campus being built by AdventHealth and Texas Health Resources, over the next couple months.
“AdventHealth and Texas Health Resources have enjoyed a very successful partnership through our joint venture facility, Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, and look forward to opening Texas Health Hospital Mansfield next year. Kenneth has a strong commitment to providing clinically excellent, consumer-centric, faith-based health care while cultivating strong community relationships and I look forward to his leadership as he builds the team that will open this new health care campus,” said Terry Shaw, president/CEO for AdventHealth.
Texas Health Hospital Mansfield will be located on 38 acres at Highway 287 and Lone Star Road in Mansfield, Texas. In addition to housing the 95-bed acute care hospital, the campus will include a medical office building for physician offices, imaging, surgical pre-testing, lab services and outpatient physical therapy.
Rose will report to Ken Finch, president and CEO for Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South and the Southwest Region of AdventHealth.
“Kenneth has done a tremendous job at Texas Health Huguley and I know his energy and charisma will serve him well as he takes the helm at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. Kenneth especially excels in the relational and strategic aspects of leadership, and we will continue to benefit from his contributions as we look to our executive leadership development program for his successor at Texas Health Huguley,” said Finch.
Rose has been with AdventHealth since 2008 when he joined the organization as a management resident. He has previously served as administrative director of radiology services and the neuroscience service line for AMITA Health in Chicago, Illinois, a joint venture between AdventHealth and Alexian Brothers Health System. There, he also directed quality, finances and growth for the radiology and neuroscience services in three hospitals, in addition to radiology in three outpatient imaging centers and two satellite imaging sites. He has also directed an outpatient campus, which included urgent care, primary care and outpatient lab, radiology and therapy services.
“I am so thrilled for this unique opportunity to build the team that will open Texas Health Hospital Mansfield and bring whole-person care to this vibrant and growing community, right where Mansfield residents live, work and play,” said Rose.
Rose holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in Orlando, Florida. He currently serves the city of Burleson through his board position on the Chamber of Commerce, as well as his membership in the Burleson Rotary Club. Rose and his wife, Alyssa, are parents to 6-month-old Sofia who they love to make laugh. The family is planning to relocate to the Mansfield community.
