AdventHealth has named Ryan Quattlebaum to the position of president/CEO for AdventHealth North Pinellas, effective Aug. 28. He will report to Erik Wangsness, president/CEO for AdventHealth Wesley Chapel who also provides executive leadership for AdventHealth North Pinellas. Quattlebaum currently serves as the chief financial officer for AdventHealth Wesley Chapel.
“Ryan is a passionate leader and I’m thrilled to see him step into this new role and continue to extend the healing ministry of Christ in the community of Tarpon Springs,” said David Ottati, president/CEO for the West Florida Division.
Under his leadership at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, and through focused initiatives that helped to grow key service lines and support physician and team member engagement, the facility saw a revenue growth of 25% and EBDITA growth of 14% between 2019 and 2021. Quattlebaum also helped to successfully secure and provide oversight of over $20 million in investments in acute and non-acute care settings.
Prior to joining AdventHealth, Quattlebaum served several years in California in a variety of leadership roles at Adventist Health. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley and Adventist Health Howard Memorial, where he helped to grow revenue and improve EBIDTA margins that would allow for the overall advancement of key services. Before joining Adventist health care, Quattlebaum served as a finance and valuation consultant for GE Healthcare and was a senior associate at Ernst & Young.
“I’m excited Ryan will have an opportunity to make an impact in this growing community,” said Jennifer Wandersleben, regional CEO for Hardee, Highlands, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties. “As I think of the plans we have for the West Florida Division, I’m clear Ryan’s expertise and leadership will help contribute to the growth of consumer-focused, quality care so that more communities are able to experience our mission and our brand promise.”
Quattlebaum has a bachelor’s degree in finance from La Sierra University and is actively pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida.
“I feel so blessed to support the AdventHealth North Pinellas team and work with dedicated care teams, physicians and leaders that have great enthusiasm for delivering wholistic and exceptional patient care,” said Quattlebaum. “The hospital has a deep history in Tarpon Springs and I’m excited that together we get to further this legacy and make a difference in lives of the friends, family, neighbors and patients we serve every day.”
Quattlebaum and his wife Cristina have two daughters, Sofia (7) and Emily (2). In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hiking and running.
