Jay received an undergraduate degree in Theology from Southwestern Adventist University and a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary. Jay is a Certified Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor and member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Jay is an ordained minister with thirteen years of experience in both pastoral ministry and clinical ministry work at hospitals in Texas and Florida.
A sought after speaker on the topic of whole person health and healing, Jay has spoken to private and professional audiences in America and Europe and Spanish speaking audiences in Central and Inter America.
Jay currently serves as Vice President of Mission and Ministry at AdventHealth. He has been married for over 25 years to Merlyn and they have two sons, Jay and Brian.
