DeeDee Trotter is a three-time Olympian in the sport of track and field. DeeDee has claimed three Olympic medals over the course of her career, two gold medals in the 4 x 400-meter relay, and a bronze medal in the 400-meter individual event. In addition to her Olympic success, Deedee was an NCAA champion, SEC champion, regional champion, and record holder during her years at the University of Tennessee. As a result of her collegiate success, DeeDee became the first female athlete in any sport to turn professional before completing four years of sports eligibility.
