Kellie Strube is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been working in the field of Mental Health for the past 16 years. She attended the University of Kansas and received a double major in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice and Delinquency and went on to receive her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Avila University. Kellie has been providing care to patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission for the past 10 years and is very passionate about her work. She really enjoys connecting with others, hearing their stories and teaching skills to help each person be the best version of themselves. Kellie resides in Overland Park KS with her husband, Zach, and her two sons.

Dr. Ashley Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist, co-founder of Peak Mind: The Center for Psychological Strength, speaker, author, and a self-proclaimed happiness quester. Since earning her PhD in 2007, she has become a sought-after specialist in the treatment of anxiety disorders. In addition to direct patient care, Dr. Ashley has published a book, articles, and a weekly blog. She regularly provides keynotes, workshops, and trainings for a variety of audiences and is involved in public outreach through the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Dr. Ashley is also open about living - and learning to thrive - with a rare visual impairment. The combination of her professional expertise and personal experiences put her in a unique position to educate and inspire. She is passionate about using psychology and applied neuroscience to help others become courageously confident so they can live bold, happy lives.

Rennie McKinney

Rennie McKinney is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist who has dedicated her professional career to serving others, specifically focusing on those struggling with depression and thoughts of ending their lives. In her role as Administrative Director at AdventHealth, she oversees the amazing teams that provide care to individuals that are often experiencing the darkest points of their lives, due to mental illness and substance abuse. She is truly honored to be in this role. Rennie also serves on several boards, one of which is the Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition, where she believes a difference is being made in our community. Rennie loves being a wife and a mother of a Razorback.

Abby Pollard

Abby Pollard

Abby Pollard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field for the past 7 years. She graduated with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and has been residing in the KC metro ever since. Abby has experience working in foster care and has worked at AdventHealth in Behavioral Health for the past 5 years. Abby is passionate about her work and the mission of providing affordable access to care to individuals and families. She feels honored to have walked alongside numerous people through some of the toughest times in life and been privileged to witness significant and important life change in her clients. Abby has made Kansas City her home, although missing Texas, she feels blessed to live in such a wonderful community. She is newly married and is expecting her first child in December.
