Feel Whole Challenge Day 18: Give Someone a Gift

The feeling you get from giving gifts is one of the best. Sharing a gift is a wonderful way to show appreciation and thoughtfulness for someone whom you care about. I learned years ago that creating gift baskets was one of my favorite ways to give a gift.

Gift baskets are wonderful because they can be curated within a variety of budgets and themes. Self-care baskets can be used as gifts for many occasions and are enjoyed by all.

My favorite basket to give is one that is an invitation to relax! It contains some favorite items that someone would need for a day of self-care.

Relaxation Gift Basket

We all know someone who deserves a little downtime. It’s fun to surprise that person with a gift that will encourage them to take time out of their busy schedule for some self-care.

Your basket can include a wide range of items such as:

  • Cozy blanket or towel
  • Slippers
  • Body scrub
  • Facial masks
  • Bath salts
  • Book or magazine
  • Candles
  • Soothing playlist
  • Other self-care goodies

The options are endless, and you can easily customize this type of basket to fit the recipient. For a fun summer twist on this basket, include a beach towel, sunscreen, magazines, a water bottle and a hat or pair of sunglasses.

Who in your life could use a gift this relaxing?
