AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida Welcomes Maria Rodammer as Newest Sharing Smiles Board Member
Orlando, FL, April 29, 2024 – AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida is excited to announce the appointment of Maria Rodammer as its newest board member for Sharing Smiles. Maria brings with her nearly 25 years of experience in the commercial banking industry, Senior Vice President, serving as the Senior Commercial Lending Officer for Cypress Bank & Trust.
“I am thrilled to have Maria join the Sharing Smiles Board. She is very passionate and will have great ideas for us as we try to increase our impact in serving children in need in Central and South America,” shared David Collis, President of AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida.
Maria’s volunteer work has taken her across the globe, having completed two trips to Bolivia with Sharing Smiles in partnership with AdventHealth and the help of the Rotary Club of Avalon Park. In 2023 alone, Maria has completed over 23 service projects. “Maria truly has a heart for these children,” shared Ruth Bowling, Development Officer for Sharing Smiles at AdventHealth.
Maria is the Past President of Rotary Club of Avalon Park, named Rotarian of the Year twice, past Board Member of the UCP of Central Florida, a member of Winter Park Leadership, West Orange Leadership, and recognized as a recipient of 40 Under 40 by the Orlando Business Journal. She currently serves on the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) Government Relations Council (GRC).
With all her philanthropic influence, Maria considers her greatest and most important work to be mother to two children, Braxton and Brianna.
“I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by incredible mentors and friends and given so many opportunities to learn and grow. I want to do the same for others. Being able to impact someone’s success and watching them flourish fills my heart,” shared Maria.
