AdventHealth, Del Webb Announce Innovative Wellness Partnership for Residents of Lake Nona-Area Community

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 22, 2021 – AdventHealth and Del Webb Sunbridge have partnered to bring health and wellness services to residents of the 55+ resort-style community near Lake Nona. Through this first-of-its-kind partnership in Central Florida, AdventHealth will offer fitness training, wellness classes and spa services to over 100 residents, as well as access to a wellness ambassador, exclusive to the community.

“An active and healthy lifestyle is at the heart of every Del Webb community – which is why Del Webb Sunbridge has partnered with AdventHealth, a leader in whole-person care,” said Clint Ball, North Florida division president of PulteGroup, Del Webb’s parent company. “We’re thrilled to be providing the kinds of health and wellness benefits that will delight our residents, and this partnership fits well with the other resort-style amenities being offered.”

To kick off the partnership, residents have been able to attend fitness classes taught by AdventHealth Celebration’s Wellness Center team such as Zumba and Yoga in a variety of formats – both outdoors and virtually – by signing up online through the community’s resident association website. In addition, wellness seminars will soon begin, with doctors speaking on subjects with whole-person care in mind. Virtual health tools and spa services are currently in the planning stages and are expected to be offered later this year.

“We’re committed to providing an exceptional health care experience through personal, human connections in our community,” said Jeff Villanueva, CEO of AdventHealth’s East Orange market. “We’re excited to partner with Del Webb to bring care closer to home and be that personal health guide for more people in this growing region.”

AdventHealth will introduce a wellness ambassador to the Del Webb Sunbridge community later this year, which will help guide residents in navigating the health care system, including referring patients to physicians and other health care services.

The Del Webb Sunbridge community is located less than 5 miles south of Lake Nona and Medical City.
