KISSIMMEE, Fla., Aug. 31, 2020AdventHealth today opens an emergency room and a first-of-its-kind health park that will expand access to care for residents of Kissimmee, St. Cloud and surrounding areas of Osceola County.

The AdventHealth Partin Settlement Health Park and ER uses technology and concierge-level service to deliver convenient, connected health care. Expanded hours and paperless patient forms will make a visit to the physician or lab simple and close-to-home.

"It is an experience that is designed around the consumer, whether they're looking for primary care, specialist care, rehab, lab or imaging,” said Brad Hillmon, vice president and Chief Operating Officer of AdventHealth’s ambulatory services. “When they walk through these doors, they're going to find an experience that is set up and choreographed for their needs.”

The two-story, 36,000-square-foot health park offers same-day appointments, expanded 7 AM -7 PM hours for patient convenience, and specially trained staff providing concierge-level service. All patient forms, registration and appointment scheduling can be done online from home, or at an on-site kiosk, for a completely paperless experience – which is especially helpful as COVID-19 has made limiting personal contact important.

Next door, the approximately 19,000-square-foot emergency room has 24 patient rooms (including two pediatric-friendly rooms to make ER visits less stressful for young guests); respiratory therapy; diagnostic imaging, including CT scans, X-ray and ultrasound; and a full-service laboratory.

The ER is staffed by a comprehensive clinical team including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses.

The health park and ER are located at 2510 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, near the intersection of Partin Settlement Road. Additional health parks are planned for Clermont and Lake Nona.
