Rothman Orthopaedics will serve as “The Official Orthopedic Team Physicians of the Orlando Magic and enter into a marketing partnership with the team alongside partner AdventHealth. Dr. Luke Oh, Orthopedic Sports Surgeon joined Rothman in 2022 and will serve as Head Team Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Harrison Youmans, sports medicine physician who joined Rothman in 2021 will serve as Head Primary Care Team Physician.
“I am truly humbled and excited to be a part of the Rothman Orthopaedics and AdventHealth sports medicine team, while being able to offer the Magic access to Rothman’s world-class physicians and high-quality care,” said Oh. “I am pleased for the opportunity to work alongside specialists who prioritize helping professional athletes as well as patients live healthy, active lives, while continuing to grow orthopedics in Central Florida.”
Oh is nationally-recognized for clinical excellence and cutting-edge research. He will bring his expertise from treating elite athletes to benefit everyday athletes of all skill levels across Central Florida. His practice will be based at the Rothman Orthopaedics office within the AdventHealth Training Center, adjacent to the Amway Center, as well as at Innovation Tower, on the Health Village campus of AdventHealth Orlando. He will also serve as chief of sports medicine for Rothman Orthopaedics and AdventHealth.

Vaccaro, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, President of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Richard H. Rothman Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics, and Professor of Neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals.

Oh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine. In addition to being a high-volume surgeon, he is a medical educator who has mentored many of the up-and-coming leaders in sports medicine, a research scientist who received numerous national and international awards, and an entrepreneur and innovator who is interested in developing cutting-edge treatments in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University, trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery for residency, and completed three fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital, Mayo Clinic, and with Dr. James Andrews. Prior to relocating to Orlando, he previously practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he also served on the medical faculty of Harvard University for 14 years. During his time in Boston, Oh served as team physician and/or consultant for a number of high school, collegiate and professional sports teams including the New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Harvard University.
Youmans is a board certified, non-surgical orthopedic and sports medicine specialist. He has worked in various roles on the professional and amateur levels, including Head Primary Care Team Physician for Orlando City Soccer Club (MLS, NWSL, USL, Development Academy); US Soccer Sports Medicine Consultant; Major League Soccer (MLS) Sports Medicine Consultant (MLS is Back Tournament 2020, MLS All-Star Game 2019); Sports Medicine Consultant for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE); as well as Affiliate Team Physician for the Atlanta Braves.
“The practice of sports medicine requires a team approach with input from the orthopedic surgeons, non-surgical sports specialists, physical therapists, and athletic trainers,” said Oh. “I look forward to working with Dr. Youmans—as well as other members of the Rothman team—while helping athletes of all levels return to the activities they love, prior to injury.”
