AdventHealth Ocala physicians and sports medicine team welcomed dozens of students from seven Marion County high schools for free sports physicals at the newly reopened AdventHealth Wellness Center Ocala. AdventHealth pediatric cardiologist Dr. Ashish Patel was onsite to complete EKG, ECG or stress tests as indicated for any students that raised a red flag during their assessment. All physicals were provided to the students at no cost.
Dr. Patel is the only pediatric cardiologist in Marion County providing expert cardiac care.
