AdventHealth Puts Safety Plans in Place for Hurricane Dorian

AdventHealth West Florida Division leaders have activated emergency management teams that are meeting daily ahead of Hurricane Dorian, in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff during the storm. Hurricane protocols include team staffing procedures, adequate water supply and backup generator power checks.

The West Florida Division includes hospitals and emergency rooms that span a wide section of the Tampa Bay area and includes AdventHealth Carrollwood, AdventHealth Connerton, AdventHealth Dade City, AdventHealth Lake Placid, AdventHealth North Pinellas, AdventHealth Ocala, AdventHealth Sebring, AdventHealth Tampa, AdventHealth Wauchula, AdventHealth Wesley Chapel and AdventHealth Zephyrhills, as well as three freestanding offsite Emergency Rooms including AdventHealth Central Pasco ER, AdventHealth Palm Harbor ER and AdventHealth TimberRidge ER.
