With an extensive background in philanthropy and development, Megan brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Prior to joining AdventHealth Riverview, she served as the Executive Director for the AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, Dade City and Zephyrhills Foundations. Before that, she held positions such as Vice President of the Arnold and Winne Palmer Foundation and Director of Development for WUCF-TV.

Miller's responsibilities as Executive Director will include cultivating relationships with major donors, generating annual revenue goals and overseeing the Foundation's volunteer Board. Her dedication to philanthropy and commitment to improving health care in the community make her an invaluable addition to the AdventHealth Riverview team.

AdventHealth Riverview, currently under construction, is set to be completed in October 2024. Once complete, the four-story, 282,000-square-foot hospital will serve one of the fastest-growing communities in Hillsborough County, providing emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, orthopedic, obstetrics, gynecology and urology services. It will house 82 patient beds with the ability to expand to 200 beds based on future needs. Additionally, there will be a medical office plaza, creating a true health care hub.

"I am truly honored to serve the vibrant and fast-growing Riverview community,” Miller said. “I am excited to work alongside our dedicated donors, volunteers and community partners as we strive to enhance the health and well-being of South Hillsborough County residents. With the opening of this new hospital, we have a unique opportunity to address the evolving health care needs of our community, right where they live, and I am eager to be a part of this journey."

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, TV, and Film from Wayne State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ken playing golf.

The AdventHealth Riverview Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to support AdventHealth Riverview’s mission, vision, programs and services.
