Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Charles Lammers, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience. He has been with Medical Psychology Associates for the last 20 years. He specializes in helping adults deal with the psychological issues that can be associated with complex medical problems. He particularly focuses on providing research-based treatment for the mental and emotional challenges faced by those with chronic pain. This includes treatment designed to educate and empower patients, improve their pain coping strategies, increase their functional abilities, and learn new ways to manage related stress/anxiety, mood and sleep problems. He also routinely provides psychological pre-surgical evaluations for those considering implanted pain technologies such as morphine pumps or spinal cord stimulators. Dr. Lammers is a member of the American Pain Society, American Psychological Association, and is part of the Spine Health Institute treatment team.
