Eddie Needham, MD, is the program director for AdventHealth’s Family Medicine Residency Program. He is both a practicing physician and associate professor at the University of Central Florida and Florida State University. Dr. Needham has won numerous teaching awards during his 20-year career, including the American Academy of Family Physician’s Parke-Davis Teaching Award, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians Teacher of the Year, and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians Teacher of the Year. He enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, competing in triathlons, fishing, and mountain-top experiences with friends.
