- The Treatment Options You Need for the Relief You Want
-
We know dealing with spinal issues can cause a lot of concern. That’s why at AdventHealth Carrollwood, we offer a range of advanced spine pain treatment options to help ease your mind and heal your spine. Many people in our care have found relief through non-surgical back and neck pain treatments like epidural steroid injections. Others have felt better with the help of minimally invasive surgical procedures. Our Spine Care specialists will discuss each option available to you, making sure you're comfortable with the treatment you receive.
If minimally invasive approaches aren’t enough, we have options. Many patients have experienced wonderful results through procedures such as laminoplasty, which relieves pressure in the spine and neck. If you and your team agree that surgery is the right treatment for your neck or back pain, our specialists at The Spine Center at AdventHealth Carrollwood perform spinal surgery and other procedures, including:
- Anterior lumbar interbody fusion removes all or part of a herniated disk and fuses the remaining vertebrae to treat degenerative disc disease.
- Epidural steroid injections are a conservative, non-surgical treatment for spinal nerve compression or inflammation.
- Kyphoplasty is when a physician inserts a small balloon into the spine and inflates it to gently reposition vertebrae that have experienced compression fractures.
- Laminoplasty reshapes or repositions bone to relieve pressure on spinal nerves in the neck.
- Minimally invasive extreme lateral interbody fusion allows for the removal and replacement of degenerative discs.
- Minimally invasive laminectomy is a small skin incision to the back part of the vertebrae that helps relieve the pressure on your spine.
Whatever treatment you and your team decide is right for you, we work hard to reduce pain and increase mobility — with the smallest amount of recovery time possible.
