We'll tend to your needs quickly. After asking for basic information, we’ll take your vital signs. Then, we’ll decide how best to care for you.

We prioritize your care through a process known as triage. At times, this means we’ll treat a person with a suspected stroke as soon as they arrive, before someone with a less serious condition. We always strive to keep our emergency wait times as short as possible.

Being prepared can make all the difference in an emergency. Consider keeping an information card with you at all times. Include the contact information for your primary care doctor and a list of your medications, drug allergies and advance directives (like health care proxy or do-not-resuscitate orders).

For illnesses that aren't life-threatening, contact one of our urgent care facilities. We're ready to provide the care you need to help you get back on your feet. You can also meet virtually with one of our doctors or nurse practitioners via our convenient and affordable video visit service.

Get urgent care for minor illnesses and injuries, including:

AdventHealth Dade City is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI with Resuscitation. That means you can count on a team with advanced training and technology to deliver the expert emergency medical treatments you need.

We understand that time is of the essence, and our door-to-balloon time in our cardiac catheterization suite is well under the American Heart Association’s 90-minute recommendation. Door-to-balloon time is a key performance quality metric in treating heart attacks. It refers to the time between when heart attack symptoms start and when a catheterization balloon has been inserted to open the artery. Trust that our ER team will be at your side at every moment, from quickly assessing your condition to providing the most compassionate post-cardiac-arrest care.
