In response to the coronavirus pandemic, some of our location policies may have changed. Please view the information below for updates on hours, cancellations and more.
- Visitor Hours and Restrictions

- No visitation except for special circumstances such as if the visitor is the power-of-attorney or medical decision-maker. Visitation will also be permitted in end-of-life situations.
- Children under the age of 12 are prohibited from visiting a facility unless they are seeking care. We continue to provide pediatric care; this policy applies to visitors only.
- Everyone visiting AdventHealth facilities, including outside vendors, will be screened each time they enter the facility. If any of the screening identifies a symptom of concern or identifies any of the risk factors of COVID-19, the visitor will not be allowed to enter the hospital until testing would confirm they do not have COVID-19.
- Other exceptions and additional guidelines include: Patients under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one adult visitor (parent, legally authorized person or caregiver).
- No additional visitors or siblings allowed, Obstetric patients can have one adult visitor, Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances such as imminent end-of-life or unique patient needs for support.
- In all circumstances, visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal medical care.
- Volunteer Restrictions

- Our Auxiliary/volunteer corps is not currently active at this time.
- Facility Tours, Lectures and Events

- All campus events and support groups have been cancelled until further notice.

- ED, Main Entrance and MOB Entrance (outpatient services entrance).
- Wellness Center Restrictions

- Our Wellness Center is closed to members. Out Patient Rehab is accepting patient appointments at this time
- Medical Tent

- ED overflow and surge screening location when needed.

AdventHealth’s COVID-19 visitation policies were created with the safety of our patients, their families and our employees in mind. During the time that in-person visitation is suspended, you can still stay connected with your loved ones by using the below flier for the easy-to-follow instructions to video chat via several different platforms. For patients that do not have a cellphone or computer, AdventHealth Daytona Beach computers are being checked out for patients to use to contact their loved ones.
