DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., November 1, 2016 Board certified cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Patrick Mangonon has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center.
Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 170 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospitals mission and values.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Medical School and completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
In his new practice at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Mangonon joins local cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Utpal Desai and vascular surgeon Dr. Megan Carroll and will treat of conditions of the heart and lungs, performing procedures such as minimally invasive cardiac valve surgery, surgical treatment of structural heart disease and lung cancer, MINI incision coronary artery bypass surgery, and more.
