AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce that Certified Nurse Midwife Ashley Cross, APRN CNM, SANE-A, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group OB/GYN at Curtis Parkway.
Cross joins the care team at AdventHealth Medical Group OB/GYN at Curtis Parkway where the clinicians provide comprehensive services and solutions that help women stay happy and healthy.
As a certified nurse midwife, Cross provides the following women’s care services:
- Assistance during childbirth
- Birth control
- Breast exams
- Gynecological issues and annual exams
- Incontinence
- Infertility
- Menopausal counseling
- Obstetrics
- Pap smears
- Pelvic exams
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Pregnancy education and support
- Well-woman exams
Cross has a profound desire to empower women and families through the experience of childbirth. She feels called to midwifery because it uniquely blends medical expertise with holistic, compassionate care. Cross’s goal is to create a safe and empowering space where her patients feel heard and respected.
Cross is a graduate of Southern Adventist University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing Midwifery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Cross is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. When not working, she enjoys live music, gardening, traveling and reading.
