N.C., September 15, 2021 — AdventHealth Hendersonville Celebrates Newest Sunshine Award Winner

Sept. 15, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to introduce you to the newest recipient of its Sunshine Award. Purvi Patel is the Administrative Coordinator for the Emergency Department. The team members she works with describe her as professional, compassionate, and skilled, with a sweet spirit that brings calmness to all.

The AdventHealth Emergency Department has been at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic, balancing the care of people with the virus and others experiencing a variety of medical emergencies. The pressure on this team is great, and that is where Purvi steps in to be a source of information and a resource of support and encouragement.

We received nomination comments for Purvi from more than 30 members of the care team.

For making it easy for our emergency care teams to feel safe and know they have a source of peace and joy whatever the day may bring, Purvi Patel is being honored with the Sunshine Award.

AdventHealth Nursing Leadership created the Sunshine Award to recognize ancillary team members who strive for excellence in their profession, consistently deliver exceptional care, uphold the highest standards and collaborate with the AdventHealth nursing teams to enhance the experience of our patients, family members and guests while Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.
