N.C., AdventHealth Hendersonville Names New Chief Nursing Officer

Aug. 18, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville has named Maureen Dzialo, MS, RN, NE-BC to be its new VP of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer. Dzialo has been a nursing leader for more than 20 years. She will be joining the AdventHealth Hendersonville leadership team on September 26.

Dzialo received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Arizona State University, Phoenix, Ariz., and her Master of Science – Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems from Regis University, Denver, Colo. She brings a strong blend of clinical and nursing education experience to her role as CNO.

Most recently, Dzialo served as VP of Patient Care Services and CNO at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. During that time, she led a nursing team dedicated to the values of high reliability organizations (HRO) keeping patient safety and efficient delivery of health care at the forefront of their care. She also led master facility plan expansion projects for multiple hospital departments including outpatient surgery, cardiology and interventional radiology.

Outside of work Maureen enjoys spending time with her family. Usually she and her husband, Mark, can be found watching their two children play sports or enjoying time outdoors as a family. This move also brings Maureen closer to family who live in the mountains of WNC
