N.C., February 08, 2022 — AdventHealth Hendersonville Welcomes New Family Nurse Practitioners

Feb. 8, 2022; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Biltmore Park is expanding its health care team and welcomes Leah Hill, RN, MSN, FNP-C and Julia Boyer, MSN, FNP, RN, PCCN. Both Hill and Boyer will be assisting John Lang, MD in providing whole-person care to patients in our community.

Leah Hill has extensive nursing experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Western Carolina University at Biltmore Park in Asheville, NC.

As a native of Western North Carolina, Hill is passionate about providing quality patient care to our local community. “By treating patients as individuals and consistently listening and acknowledging their unique cares and concerns, I am able to establish meaningful patient relationships,” Hill shares, “A strong provider-patient relationship is the basis for quality care.”

With a background in education, Julia Boyer went back to school for nursing in 2014 to pursue her life-long dream of working in health care. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Western Carolina University at Biltmore Park in Asheville, NC.

Boyer is dedicated to providing compassionate health care centered around the whole person. “I became a nurse practitioner to care for and help patients,” Boyer explains, “I enjoy educating and working with patients to achieve goals and improve their health. I truly believe good health requires caring for the whole person, including mind and spirit.”

“Julia and Leah are exceptional in their approach to caring for patients from a whole-person perspective,” shared MBA, AdventHealth Hendersonville Vice President of Physician Services and Chief Practice Officer. “They will be putting that approach into practice as part of the team model of care we offer in collaboration with Dr. John Lang in our Biltmore Park office.”

Both Hill and Boyer are excited to join the AdventHealth Hendersonville team. “I am extremely excited to become a part of this service-based team,” Hill says, “I look forward to joining AdventHealth and serving the people of Western North Carolina.”
