N.C., AdventHealth Hendersonville Welcomes New Human Resource Business Partner

Mar 1, 2022; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. AdventHealth is excited to welcome Scarlett Goodman, PHR as the Director, Human Resources Business Partner for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Goodman brings her extensive background in Human Resource strategic planning and employee relations to her new role at AdventHealth Hendersonville.

Goodman earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC and went on to become a Professional in Human Resources in 2009. She most recently served as the Manager in Human Resources at HCA Healthcare at Mission Health Systems in Asheville, NC, where she regularly provided guidance on matters such as employee relations, leadership training, and leave management issues.

Goodman was drawn to the health care field because she believed that caring for health care workers is a way to care for her community. “I am very encouraged by the mission of AdventHealth, particularly extending the healing ministry of Christ to the employees and community,” Goodman shares, “Being a non-clinical employee, I see the relationship of providing great support to the employees who provide the direct support as a vital tie to patients. My heart goes out to anyone seeking care and I know that having a cared-for workforce will make that relationship even better.”

“We are excited to have Scarlett join us as we grow and support our incredible team. She has a wealth of experience as a human resource leader that is evident in her progressive roles in the health care industry,” said Brandon Nudd, AdventHealth Hendersonville President and Chief Executive Officer. “It is very clear to see how passionate Scarlett is about supporting our caregivers in our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.”

Goodman is looking forward to joining the team at AdventHealth Hendersonville. “I know the excellent reputation and level of care this health community offers, and I wanted to be a part of this growing, dynamic team.” Goodman says, “I can’t wait to build relationships here!”
