AdventHealth Welcomes Back Physician Assistant to Provide Diabetes Education

HENDERSONVILLE, NC, Oct. 10, 2024 – AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to welcome back Nicole Drake, MSM, PA-C. Drake is part of the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Internal Medicine at Hendersonville*. Drake is a certified physician assistant and is committed to providing compassionate, whole-person care with a focus on providing specialized diabetes education to patients and their families.

Drake began providing patient care in 2006 and has experience in a variety of care settings ranging from family medicine to specialty care in Michigan and North Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, and went on to complete both her Master of Science in medicine and physician assistant certification at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.

Drake is a familiar face to some in our community since she has previously cared for patients at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Biltmore Park*. She has always had a passion for providing education. She continues to serve as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator at Wingate University where she helps lead the physician assistant program.

Educating her patients on diabetes, and how to live and manage their diabetes is something Drake cares about strongly. She is looking forward to being a resource for patients in our community who might be struggling with diabetes management and might need compassionate guidance to help them feel whole again.
