HENDERSONVILLE, NC, August 20, 2024 – AdventHealth is excited to have Danielle Boyce Saldaña, DO join our team at AdventHealth Medical Group Surgery Specialists*. Dr. Saldaña is a board-certified General Surgeon specializing in comprehensive minimally invasive techniques including robotic-assisted surgery.

Dr. Saldaña earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University. She went on to complete her General Surgery Internship and General Surgery Residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH.

From an early age, Dr. Saldaña had an interest in practicing medicine. She was drawn to the hands-on approach of caring for people that makes a profession in health care so special. This passion for caring for others led her to specialize in general surgery. Her approach to patient-centered care has led her to gain expertise in leading-edge technology that allows for quicker recovery time, less pain and enhances patient outcomes.

“I try to do as much minimally invasive surgery as possible,” Dr. Saldaña says, “including using a robotic approach which allows patients the opportunity for less pain medication requirements and allows for quicker recovery.”

Dr. Saldaña believes in excellent communication and strives to be a resource and provide comprehensive patient education. She is excited to serve the community by providing efficient, safe and high-quality surgical care in Western North Carolina.

Dr. Saldaña married her high school sweetheart, and together they have two young children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, golf and reading.
