New AdventHealth Physiatrist Expands Access to Care for Patients Dealing with Pain, Muscle and Skeletal Issues

Oct 24, 2023; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth is excited to welcome Rebecca Wilson Zingg, DO to its team at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Medical Office Building* in Hendersonville. Dr. Zingg is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and focuses on improving function and quality of life for her patients.

Dr. Zingg earned her bachelor’s degree in religion from Davidson College in Davidson, NC and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University California in Vallejo, CA. She went on to complete her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program from the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Zingg empowers patients and communities with tools for wellness. She provides care with an emphasis on optimizing function and musculoskeletal pain relief through hands-on treatment, and comprehensive patient care and wellness. She helps treat a variety of conditions, such as neck and low back pain, headaches, post-concussive issues, pelvic pain, hip and knee pain, and more.

“My focus is on wellness and prevention, integrative health care, and manual treatment of a multitude of health conditions,” Dr. Zingg explains. “My goal is to empower patients with daily tools for self-care and to remove barriers such as pain that are inhibiting their fullest experience of health.”

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Zingg values a holistic approach to health care. Dr. Zingg most recently worked at University of Utah Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Salt Lake City, UT, where she was voted “Best Osteopathic Physician” in City Weekly for two years in a row. She also served as co-director and founder of the Manual Medicine Elective and co-director of Health Promotion and Integrative Health Pathway for medical students at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Zingg is excited to be moving back to the mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys being outside, exploring nature with her family, creating art, and practicing mindfulness and meditation.
