Yuri Pashchuk will serve as the associate chief nursing officer (ACNO) for AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway, effective June 17.
AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway opened to the community in Aug. 2023. As the second AdventHealth hospital in Flagler County, the $167 million investment doubles the inpatient capacity and nearly doubles the area’s emergency department services.
“With a decade of nursing leadership experience, Yuri will be responsible for leading and guiding the care provided in the inpatient nursing departments for our new 100-bed hospital,” said Kristen Sutton, chief nursing officer for AdventHealth operations in Flagler and St. Johns counties. “We are excited to welcome him into this role.”
“A large part of my decision to join AdventHealth is the organization’s mission and values,” said Pashchuk. “As a faith-based system that focuses on supporting and serving the local community, AdventHealth was very much aligned with my own personal values, and I am proud to be joining the team.”
Born in Ukraine, Pashchuk’s family immigrated to the United States in 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keuka College in New York and a Master of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in Virginia. He also completed the Cornell University Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement in 2021.
Pashchuk most recently served as the chief nursing officer at St. Josephs Health in New York, where he also previously held leadership roles in medical, surgical, critical care and progressive care units.
“As I join the Palm Coast community, I am looking forward to discovering everything the area has to offer, building long-lasting relationships, and finding ways to give back,” said Pashchuk. “My family and I look forward to joining a local church and attending community events with our boys.”
Pashchuk has been an active member at Northside Church, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, serving as a deacon, and served on the board of directors for Missio Global and St. Josephs College of Nursing.
