PALM COAST, Fla., October 26, 2017 On Oct. 23, the Flagler County Tax Collectors office donated $170 to Florida Hospital HospiceCare.
Each month, employees of the Flagler County Tax Collectors office contribute a donation in exchange for the privilege of wearing jeans on Friday. At the end of the month, a local charity is selected to receive that months funds from the Jean Pool. This month, Florida Hospital HospiceCare was the beneficiary.
These funds will benefit the eight-bed Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast. The facility opened in 2007 and is Flagler Countys only hospice in-patient unit. Florida Hospital HospiceCare offers acute, respite, home health and continuous care; no other hospice in Flagler County offers all four services.
