PALM COAST, Fla., May 23, 2019 — On May 17, a group of orthopedic surgeons at AdventHealth Palm Coast donated $1,750 to the Flagler Sheriff's Police Athletic League (PAL).
An independent non-profit corporation, Flagler Sheriff's PAL provides sports, educational and mentoring opportunities to 1,300 local children.
Orthopedic surgeons Dr. Dennis Alter, Dr. David Gay, Dr. Jeffrey Keen, Dr. Scott Putney and Dr. Corey Rosenbaum made the donation to support the local PAL organization efforts.
“The programs that benefit from this donation have a ripple effect in the community by impacting families and setting them on a positive track for their child’s future,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “This money contributes to building a positive relationship between law enforcement and children.”
