PALM COAST, Fla., April 15, 2016 On March 22, Florida Hospital Flagler awarded three team members with mission awards. These awards recognize staff who provide exceptional patient care that is aligned with Florida Hospital's mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Registered nurse Angie Sheffield received the mission award in the staff category, emergency medicine physician Dr. Kristin McCabe received the mission award in the physician category, and Kitty Van Horn received the mission award in the volunteer category.

Angie, Dr. McCabe and Kitty are well-known for their inspiration and their interest in sharing hope and compassion with others, said Edilson Goncalves, Florida Hospital Flagler chaplain. These awards help us to recognize and thank them for their continued dedication to our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
