Becker’s Hospital Review, a health care news publication, released its list of 60 Health System CEO Influencers for 2023. Among the leaders recognized are Terry Shaw, president and CEO for AdventHealth, and Audrey Gregory, PhD, RN, executive vice president and CEO for AdventHealth’s East Florida Division.
“Whether these leaders are challenging the status quo, championing public health issues, pioneering new models of care, or embracing novel technologies, the nation – and even the world – is watching,” the publication noted about those honored on the list. “More often than not, the precedents these executives set go on to become the golden standard for health care.”

Shaw was commended for his financial stewardship, workforce DEI initiatives, advancement of health equity, public policy influence and sustainability commitments.
Gregory’s leadership was applauded for shaping her region’s total network of care, her role as a change agent and her work to champion health equity in the region she serves, including Florida‘s Brevard, Flagler, northern Lake, St. Johns, southern Sumter and Volusia counties.
