Andrew Jahn has been named president/CEO for AdventHealth’s Multi-State Division. In this role, Jahn will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and growth of AdventHealth assets across eight states, working collaboratively with leaders and partners to enhance AdventHealth’s strategic partnerships, and leading the execution of business strategies that help to optimize the total network of care across the division. He will assume leadership on April 1 and will report to David Banks, group CEO for AdventHealth’s Multi-State and Primary Health divisions.
Currently, Jahn serves as president of Adventist Health’s Southern California Network. In this role, Jahn leads strategy and operations for Adventist Health in the greater Los Angeles basin, which includes acute care hospitals in Los Angeles, Glendale, Montebello and Simi Valley. With more than 1,200 licensed beds, 50,000 annual discharges and over 850,000 emergency department visits each year, the network includes an integrated graduate medical education program, a multispecialty physician group with over 30 outpatient clinics and three ambulatory surgery centers, as well as home-based services. Prior to this role, Jahn was president of Adventist Health’s former Care Division. He has also served as president of Adventist Health Sonora in Northern California and as CFO of the medical center in Sonora, and has held leadership roles at AdventHeath in Kansas City and Orlando.
“I’m thrilled Andrew is returning to AdventHealth and stepping into this critical role. Andrew is a mission-centric leader with a bias for action and transforming health outcomes across urban and rural communities. As we think about the continued growth of our assets and our mission across the Multi-State Division, I’m excited to see Andrew be a part of the team that helps to further the delivery of whole-person care in the markets we serve,” said Banks.
Jahn is an active member of his community, serving on the board of directors at COPE Health Solutions. He’s also a three-term board member on the California Hospital Association Political Action Committee and volunteers on the Glendale YMCA board and Union College Division of Business advisory board. He is past treasurer and board member for the Hospital Council of Northern & Central California and past board member and trustee for the California Hospital Association. He’s also served as chairman of the board for Adventist Health St. Helena, Adventist Health Glendale, Adventist Health White Memorial and Adventist Health Simi Valley.
“I’m humbled to have the opportunity to return to the AdventHealth family and support such a talented and diverse group of accomplished leaders,” Jahn said. “I couldn't be more excited about the mission impact we'll make together across our Multi-State Division footprint.”
Jahn received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Union College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He also holds a black belt certification from GE in Lean Six Sigma.
