Ali Steubing, RN, has been named AdventHealth Murray’s latest DAISY Award recipient. This award is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human tasks nurses perform every day.
Steubing, a nurse at AdventHealth Murray, was nominated by three people who said the following:
“She was kind and educated my father about every test and medication changes.”
“She went above and beyond with her care, treatment and compassion.”
“She has empathy to relate to her patients, compassion to comfort and calm them and patience during times of stress. No matter what we asked, she took the time to explain to us in a knowledgeable way that helped us understand the medical jargon. We never left confused, worried or upset with her being by our side helping us understand what was going on. Mrs. Steubing definitely helped to give a rating score of five stars for AdventHealth Murray. She was the daisy who brought sunshine to our family, and she will find a solution to any patient who is looking for sunshine during their lowest and darkest moments.”
