Recent growth, including the acquisition of Florida Hospital New Smyrna, the opening of a NICU with 16 private, family-centered rooms at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, and the addition of a Florida Hospital Centra Care urgent care facility in DeLand, have increased the need for skilled nurses to help continue providing quality care to the community.
With 46 hospitals in 10 states, Adventist Health System is one of the largest Protestant health care systems in the nation - and is still growing. During one of our previous hiring events, one out of three attendees received a job offer, said Lindsay Cashio, spokeswoman for the Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties. Locally, our hospitals regularly earn awards for clinical excellence, and we recognize the enormous role our team members play in this with their hard work and dedication to providing quality, compassionate care. We hope this hiring event will bring additional like-minded team members to our local facilities.
