Florida Hospital Names New Marketing Director

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla., June 18, 2018 Florida Hospital has selected Stephanie Mellenberndt to serve as the director of marketing for both Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach and Florida Hospital New Smyrna in New Smyrna Beach. In this role, Mellenberndt is responsible for overseeing the marketing strategy, activation and community relations that drives awareness and community connection for the 327-bed facility in Daytona Beach, as well as the 112-bed facility in New Smyrna Beach. Mellenberndt has nearly 25 years of experience. She previously served as director of marketing for Hawaiian Tropic, a global Sun Care company in Ormond Beach, for 11 years. Most recently, she was the director of marketing strategy and grassroots for the Orlando Magic, a NBA basketball team. In this role, she directed the branding, advertising, fan engagement and marketing strategy for the professional sports team. Mellenberndt earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
