NEW SMYRNA, Fla., March 31, 2017 On March 31, just one day shy of a year, Florida Hospital New Smyrna celebrated its first anniversary of joining the Florida Hospital family.
On April 1, 2016, Bert Fish Medical Center was renamed Florida Hospital New Smyrna and joined the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which includes Florida Hospital DeLand in DeLand, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, and Florida Hospital Oceanside in Ormond Beach.
To celebrate this anniversary, the hospital shared a cake with staff.
Its been a whirlwind first year, but Im so excited to see our hospital continue to grow and flourish in the years to come, said Ken Mattison, Florida Hospital New Smyrna CEO.
