AdventHealth has named Marisa Farabaugh to the position of senior vice president and chief supply chain officer. In this role, Farabaugh will provide strategic direction toward new and sustainable supply chain efficiencies including aligning people, process and technology, optimizing sourcing, driving cost and control initiatives and maintaining a culture of efficiency and effectiveness. She will report to Penny Johnson, senior vice president of finance for AdventHealth, and work closely with the AdventHealth Clinical team and the organization’s diverse markets across the country.
“Marisa’s energetic and engaging approach to leadership will drive innovative solutions to help us improve patient safety and support the financial sustainability of the organization,” said Johnson. “Her focus on relationships and proven skills in process engineering and supply chain efficiency paired with her experience across multiple industries is a valuable asset for the growth and success of our organization.”
Farabaugh has a background in the management of multi-functional teams, resource utilization, financial analytics and processes engineering. Most recently, she served as vice president of general services and chief supply chain officer for Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina. Her experience also includes companies such as University of Florida Health and The Hershey Company.
“I could not be more pleased to join AdventHealth during this exciting time of growth for the organization,” said Farabaugh. “As we grow to serve more communities, my goal is to ensure our growth is matched with superior supply chain operations that keep our patients safe and mitigate organizational risk.”
Farabaugh earned a master’s in business administration from the Pennsylvania State University, and a bachelor’s in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida.
