Medical Imaging and Diagnostics

Our Imaging Centers Light the Way To Better Outcomes

The imaging centers in our network offer a full spectrum of diagnostic and screening medical imaging services — from routine X-rays and ultrasounds to advanced magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography scans. These leading-edge tools allow us to detect and identify your condition in earlier stages while directing treatment to damaged or diseased areas more effectively. Once we get a clear and accurate picture of what's happening inside, we can provide the healing you need.

  • DEXA Scan

A dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan, sometimes called a bone density scan, is an enhanced form of X-ray that measures bone loss. It can assess your risk for developing fractures or osteoporosis.

  • Computed Tomography Scans

A computed tomography (CT) scan is a noninvasive imaging procedure to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Using high-tech computer systems and X-rays, we can take specialized images of the brain, organs and bones.

  • Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy, sometimes called a real-time X-ray, produces a moving image of your body’s functioning organs. This noninvasive imaging procedure allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose your condition.

  • Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology (IR) uses X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and other imaging technologies to treat a variety of medical conditions without surgery. These minimally invasive procedures include biopsies, inserting venous access devices, draining fluids and opening narrowed blood vessels.

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a powerful magnetic field, radio-frequency pulses and a computer to produce images of organs, soft tissue, bone and virtually all other internal body structures. There is no exposure to radiation with an MRI, and it is among the safest and most versatile imaging methods.

  • Mammography

Mammography detects and evaluates breast changes, helping us better care for people with breast cancer. As a preventive measure, a screening mammogram is recommended for women 40 and older with no abnormal symptoms. A diagnostic mammogram is used for women with breast symptoms like a lump or discharge.

  • Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear medicine diagnoses disease and evaluates bodily functions using tiny amounts of radioactive substances called radiotracers. Taken orally or by intravenous (IV) injection, radiotracers accumulate in targeted organs or tissue, giving off energy that a gamma camera can capture. Through nuclear medicine, we can detect conditions like cancer at some of the earliest possible stages.

  • Pediatric Imaging

Our pediatric imaging technologies serve children's unique needs with screening and diagnostic services, including the latest in CT, digital X-rays, MRI, nuclear imaging technologies and ultrasound.

  • Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography Scan

PET-CT scans revolutionized cancer care by providing detailed scans for diagnosis, surgical planning, treatment planning and treatment. With PET-CT scans, we can detect tumors nearly three times smaller than masses visible on traditional scans.

  • Ultrasounds

Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, is a noninvasive test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs and blood flowing through blood vessels.

  • Women’s Imaging

Through our network of care, we provide a full range of screening and diagnostic services for women, including bone density scans, breast biopsy, MRI, ultrasounds and diagnostic and screening mammograms.

  • X-ray

X-rays produce a two-dimensional image of the inside of the body. The X-ray beam passes through the body and is captured on a computerized detector. With this detailed picture, we can determine whether a bone is chipped, dislocated, or broken, evaluate joint injuries and bone infections, screen for heart and lung disease, locate objects accidentally swallowed by a child and evaluate the source of abdominal pain.

Clear Pictures for Imaging You Can Count On

The care you need starts with a diagnosis. Our skilled radiology specialists and state-of-the-art equipment provide imaging that lets us see exactly what's happening inside your body. Once we have a clear picture, your care team can make a more precise treatment plan and guide you toward healing and wholeness.
