Dr. Chen chose AdventHealth Altamonte Springs to complete her PGY-1 residency because of their well-rounded and extensive pharmacy residency curriculum and electives in combination with their standard of providing high-quality, compassionate patient care. Angelica is most excited about presenting her work at pharmacy conferences throughout her residency, learning from AdventHealth's Altamonte Spring's most knowledgeable and experienced pharmacy preceptors and obtaining a teaching certificate alongside her co-residents. Outside of the hospital, Angelica enjoys playing and teaching the violin, fishing with her significant other and creating memories with parents and friends. Angelica is familiar with the Orlando area, but she still enjoys discovering new restaurants, art and historic museums, and hidden wilderness spots throughout Florida. Angelica's career goals post residency is to obtain a position as a clinical pharmacist and become a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. Angelica has a love for teaching and hopes to become a student preceptor for up-and-coming future pharmacists.
